Our Networks
CIC PASTOR
The CIC pastor serves to provide leadership to the congregation by attending to spiritual, pastoral, administrative, and ministry matters. Our pastor upholds and communicates the core values of the church and leads the congregation in implementing the vision and mission statement of CIC. The pastor also guides the ministry networks and addresses the spiritual needs and concerns of the congregation.
Our pastor is also responsible for teaching and equipping the congregation for the shared task of fulfilling the Central Commission to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything” Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:16-20).

Outreach Network
Encourages the CIC family to live out our faith outside the ‘walls of the church’, to reach people where they are, and to lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Provides overall leadership to the missions involvement and lifestyle of the church. This team leads the congregation in seeking opportunities for evangelism (gospel intentionality) and discipleship (spiritual formation), both locally and internationally. This team also develops relevant and creative programs that will raise the evangelistic temperature of the church.
How we do this:
Reaching them – By showing up and meeting people where they are and being examples to them of the love that Jesus has for everyone.
Serving them – Through the skills, talents, and resources God has blessed us with, we connect with organizations/groups in the local community to perform acts of service that help meet the needs of the people and make a positive impact in their lives.
Teaching Them – We invest in people’s lives by caring them through the love of Christ. As we share God’s love, we invite them to hear about Christ and study the Bible. We plan ministry opportunities that allow us to share our faith through word and deeds.

Fellowship Network
We might think of Fellowship as gathering together to eat food or enjoy each other’s presence. But what makes that different from hanging out?
Genuine Christian fellowship exists when God’s people serve God together. As a church, we must put Christ at the center of everything we do. The Fellowship Network serves to put Christ front and center in all of our gatherings, activities and life events. It is when we walk together with Christ that we have Christian Fellowship.
Whether it’s life events, gatherings, camps, and more, the Fellowship Network serves the congregation with a heart of hospitality, generosity, and the love of Christ. The main responsibility of the Fellowship network is to plan and organize a variety of social events for all ages of our congregation throughout the year in coordination with other ministry leaders. These events help our members to get to know each other better, feel more connected to our church community, and to have fun.
Please pray for the Fellowship Network and consider volunteering to help out!
How to get involved
We are looking for volunteers to join and take part in sharing ideas to help plan and coordinate events. Fellowship needs people who love helping and serving others. If you are unable to commit as a member, we can always use your help whenever you are available especially with set-up, serving food, and clean-up during events.

Equipping Network
Our mission is to empower the congregation with the tools they need for a healthy spiritual life and service to God. We help in teaching the young children and youth and facilitating the different kinds of training for the church.
How to Get Involved:
- Children’s Ministry – share the basics of our faith with babies, toddlers and young children.
- Youth Ministry – deepen the knowledge and application of the word of God as it applies to the student’s life
- Training/Seminars
- Bible Study Groups – These groups are for studying the word of God and for connecting to a community group beyond your Sunday involvement at CIC. You may have been prompted to act during a sermon, but you’ve been left with more questions than answers: What is my next step in following Jesus? How do I connect with people like me or get into a small group? Small group meetings give you a chance to voice out these concerns and get guidance in a more comfortable setting.

Compassion Network
- Prayer Team – Prayer partners to commit to a time of prayer together before every Sunday worship service and individual prayer time for the church and its congregation’s prayer needs
- Cards/ Visitation Team – Sending out cards during birthdays, sickness, and any life events as well as coordinating visits to people’s homes
- Volunteer Ministries – The compassion team works with local and international organizations to help those in need. Consider volunteering to be a part of these ministry opportunities.
Worship Team
Worship is the believer’s response to all that they are – mind, emotions, will, body – to what God is and says and does. It is the Spirit-inspired, truthful, heartfelt, vocal expression of love and loyalty to the Lord directly.
Our Worship Ministry exists to glorify God as one body with one voice through one spirit. We seek to humbly lead others by worshipping God in corporate worship. We invite others to worship the Lord together, thereby, allowing a profound opportunity for the Holy Spirit to touch souls, heal hearts, and ignite a passion for Jesus and the work of His kingdom.
Our philosophy is that worship is a lifestyle. Worship is lived out day to day. It is not an event. It is not passive. Worship at Concord International Church is more than music. It is a way of life and we strive for our music to be one of the ways we offer our very best to God.
How to get involved
Our Worship Ministry needs many volunteers to be effective. Included in the Worship Team are worship leaders, backup singers, and players of various instruments. Common instrumentation used in our services includes acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, piano and keyboards, and drums. Our membership is open to all CIC members and require a commitment to the Worship Team covenant.
A lot of behind-the-scene work goes into creating our Sunday morning worship service. A key component of that work is done by our Audio Team, assuring that everyone who attends can properly hear and participate in our services. We also have a group of faithful volunteers who put together the slideshows we project on Sunday mornings. This involves displaying the lyrics, announcements, sermon slides and more. It is a relatively easy program to learn, and we are always willing to train more people.
If you have an interest in music or singing, and have the desire to lead others in worship, we would love to have you be part of our ministry. We believe that God is not interested in who has the best voice or plays an instrument better than others, as much as He is with who brings worship to God from a sincere heart. So, no matter where you feel you are with your skill level, if you have the desire to be part of this ministry, we would love to hear from you.
